My Discussion Question:
If you were a juror sitting in on this case, with the evidence provided what kind of ruling would you make?

Human Rights Poster
In the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, under article 23, it states everyone has the right to employment and to work under humanitary condititons. It also says EVERYONE will receive equal pay for equal work and also people will not be discriminated against because of race, status or culture etc. Lastly, it states everyone has the right to form and join trade unions if it is in their best interest. I believe the consequences for not enforcing or upholding these right would be protests, rallies, poverty, lower standard of living and a overall lower economy for the country. Looking back at history, it is clear that white males will be paid generously no matter what. Men from other races and culture would be second highest paid and unforunately no matter what race or culture women will be paid the least. Even though this right exists, in the U.S., females get paid 19% less than their fellow male co-workers(full time, year round). This right may exist but it is very poorly enforced even in developed countries like Canada.
